Back from Break

The game is not over yet. Players still remain.

I hope everyone enjoyed their spring break. To facilitate a speedy conclusion to this first round I am ruling that all remaining players must make attempts on your target once every two days instead of three to remain competent beginning on Monday morning.

All players who successfully eliminated their target in this first round will receive a new target at some point tomorrow.

The Final Stages

With only a handful of players remaining, we have officially reached the final stages of the game.

In this section each player will be paired off. Meaning each assassin will be locked in a battle of wits against a single foe. Your target will also be your assassin. No more blending into the crowd. The gloves are off and the real game begins today...

To facilitate this new organization of the target structure, each remaining player will recieve an email tonight identifying their adversary. Keep in mind, your new target may not be the same as your currently assigned target. If this is the case, your new target is your only target. If your target does not change then that person has been assigned to you. Remember, no matter the outcome the paranoia is almost over.

School? What School?

Yeah so I decided to not fail my classes and take some time to catch up on my assignments. This caused a temporary lapse in my ability to update the site. But, I'm back!

Lots of updates:

First and most importantly, the kills.

David Rayburn was killed by the Chief of police after being listed as incompetent.
Zach Samuel was killed by Billy the Dumb
Nic Goodman and Amanda Alvarez were killed by Adam Bittmann who was then killed by the assassin Jarell.
Gentry Atkinson was killed by a police officer when he and an accomplice Nich Heling made an attempt to kill the assassin Jarrel. Officer Angela Kelly was killed in the line of duty by Nich Heling just before Nich was killed by the assassin Jarrel.
Most recently, Greg Sain was killed by the assassin K outside of the Highsmith this morning.

The following players will be added to the police force as officers:
Jessica Matheson
Greg Sain
Adam Bittman
Lisa Simpson
Drew Ratliff

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Another Assassin, Sam Spragins, has been added to the incompetent list. If you see Sam he is to be eliminated with prejudice.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Only 11 players remain. If you have come this far you must be doing something right.

New targets to come.

That is all for now.
Try to stay alive.

Going up?

The assassin Tsvi calmly followed Muir Langley across the highsmith food court keeping him at a safe distance. Muir, unaware of the danger he faced, stopped at the elevator and pressed the up arrrow. Tsvi noticing his opportunity quickened his pace arriving just as the elevator doors opened. The two assassins stepped inside...

"What floor?" asked Muir.
"Two please." replied Tsvi.

The doors closed. Muir reached for the button panel and quickly realized he had been stabbed in the back. Spinning around he made eye contact with Tsvi before crumpling to the floor. Tsvi retrieved and concealed his weapon just as the elevator doors opened.

Muir Langley was killed by the Assassin Tsvi.

Todays Kills and your First Challenge

These are the official kills for today.

Ellen Cooper : Officer Neal Beckett
Jessica Matheson : Tsvi
Robert Norman : Officer Chris Johansen
Dustin Barnes : Nate Mannone
Josh McDaniel : morm-on

More kills to come targets will be distributed tonight.

A new ruling has been put into effect. If you wish to be protected by the "at work" clause of the rules you will be required to clearly label yourself "working." A prominent name tag would do. This is to prevent abuse of the rule to protect yourself against unexpected attacks. No working tag means no protection. This rule will go into effect tomorrow at 9:00 pm. That should give everybody enough time to hear about it.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now for the big news!

As a reward to those of you who check this site religiously, I am officially announcing that tomorrow is the day of your first challenge. At some point tomorrow, I, Nathan Brothers, your trusty umpire, will put on a red and white cartoon style target. While I am wearing the target I will be a special police officer. I will be able to attack and kill anyone I see with a weapon but killing me will not result in your addition to the wanted list. The result is indeed the opposite entirely, if you kill me, you will receive as your reward your target's entire class schedule.

When I am killed, I will remove the target ending the challenge. For this reason I will only be giving out one set of schedule information. Meaning to reap the rewards you must be the first to kill me.

Remember you can be killed by me when I am wearing the target, as in eliminated from the game, if not what would be the risk of trying that would make the challenge worthy of the reward. It also gives me an excuse to play for the day.

Good luck and I hope the best assassin wins.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To different news:

The police officer Scott Arritt was found guilty of aiding an assassin and so was killed today by members of the secret police. He is now a non-player.

Speaking of police:

I'm not adding police today because I am installing a new system. If you would like to become a police officer send me a email with "make me an officer" as the subject and the body and then sign it with your real name. Do this and you will be made an officer by the next day.

Good luck to all of you, Good hunting, and stay Alive.
